Tell Your Covid Story | Podcast Seeking Submissions

My producer and I are working on a podcast episode to tell your stories about the pandemic.

How are you holding up? Me? Honestly, some days I am fine and others not so great. At times I am terribly unmotivated without much work to get done. I am grieving and anxious, just like so many others around the world.

Here is a photo from my 365 Project that sums up my down days here.

However, I am also very aware of the silver linings I have. I am trying to focus on those when I can. Like how I get to spend more time with Charlie. We are creating things, playing board and card games, and snuggling on the couch, which is just the best!

I also have had time to write and am spending many hours doing that. But there are also days when I just don’t want to talk to anyone at all.

I want to hear how are you doing. (Both men and women are invited to share in this episode!)

What are you doing that you normally would never do or have time to do? What are you (binge) watching, eating, cooking, playing, doing that you might not usually have the time to do and you might not tell anyone either!?

And on the flip side what have you learned or enjoyed? Something you have learned about yourself or how to do from this time that might have been unexpected.

Our voices are one of the things that connects us to each other. Sharing our stories helps us feel less alone.

I realize that each of us is individually experiencing this time in our own unique way while collectively there are similarities.

Just talk into the voice memo of your phone (or any recording device) for a minute or two and send it to my email below!

We want to hear your thoughts, ideas, worries, joys and celebrations about this time. We will weave these into a collaborative storytelling episode of the podcast.

A few episodes ago we had many women record their stories about how their hair and having it cut, dyed, or changed had impacted them. It was a very moving episode.

In case you didn’t get a chance to listen it is fascinating. Just click on this title to go to the episode How our Hair Shapes our Identity
