The Lies We Tell Ourselves

"Butterflies can't see their wings. They can't see how truly beautiful they are, but everyone else can. People are like that as well." -Naya Rivera

A couple years ago we put together a presentation for a Galentines event at coworkHERS in Portland, Maine. We had such a great evening talking about body positivity, healing, and uplifting women.

We wanted to share these powerful words and images from some of the amazing women we’ve worked with, who were willing to be vulnerable and put in the work towards loving and accepting their beautiful selves and bodies just as they are.

The negative voices in our heads can be loud and it’s not always easy to identify them for what they are: LIES.

This world isn’t an easy place for women. But it IS possible to rewire the messaging in our brains and start to see the beauty that we radiate, the beauty that is so apparent to those who love us. And that shift in our perception can have remarkable results.

We’re honored to work with these women and so many more - women who walk boldly through this world and know that loving themselves is the first step towards a fuller and and more healed existence.

We hope this can be a small reminder to be loving and kind to yourself every day 💘
